BuscoPet

A Paraguayan platform for QR pet tags: whoever finds a lost pet scans the tag and reaches the family at once. I designed the product and built it end to end.

BuscoPet landing page: a golden retriever with a QR tag on its collar, a phone showing Luna’s profile and the headline “Tu mascota siempre vuelve a casa.”

The problem

A pet tag usually carries one phone number, if it can still be read. Whoever finds a lost pet has no quick way to reach the family, and owners can’t change what the tag says.

What I did

  • Designed the flows. From the first scan of a new tag to the page whoever finds the pet sees, with call and WhatsApp buttons.
  • Built the platform. The owner app, the public pages and an admin where the client prints tag batches and tracks the vet clinics that sell them.
  • Kept it private. Owners choose what each page shows, and visits are counted without storing anyone’s location.

Result Whoever finds the pet calls the family in one tap, with no app.

Luna’s public page on a phone: buttons to call the owner, WhatsApp and the vet, and her health data
What whoever finds the pet sees: call, WhatsApp or the vet, no app needed.
The round BuscoPet tag with its QR code and the text “Escaneá y ayudame a volver a casa”
The tag: one QR per pet, linked to its page the first time it is scanned.
Luna’s public page on a computer, with the BuscoPet logo and the contact buttons
The same page on a computer. The owner chooses what it shows.
