Welcomy

Queue management for branches: visitors take a number, see it called on the room screen and follow their turn on their phone. I designed it, built it alone and run it.

Welcomy room display calling ticket CON44 to desk 1

The problem

Branches with walk-in visitors run their lines on paper tickets or costly hardware. Visitors wait blind; managers can’t see where the time goes.

What I did

  • Designed the whole flow. Take a number at a kiosk or from a QR, see it called on the room screen, follow it on the phone. No app to install.
  • Built it alone. Accounts for each business, staff roles, WhatsApp alerts and reports per branch.
  • Run it. On my own servers with Cloudflare in front, an outside uptime monitor, a print agent for ticket printers, and load and mutation tests.

Result A queue system one person designs, builds and runs.
